How it Works
Our goal is to provide resources and enable people to advocate for themselves. We’ve been doing this for a minute. We have discovered that the system is too complicated for every day Americans to understand and interact with in productive ways. Numerous organizations have tried to take this on, but the skill to understand and implement needed actions has been seriously lacking.
We decided another approach was needed. So we got busy combining the skills we have to create a viable path forward. In short, we are trying to bring professionalism to a field that overwhelming currently functions as the wild west.
To do things well costs money. There are services that cost, and the acumen to be able to put together viable strategies does not come cheap. Since we have not been able to get funding we decided a new approach was needed and we found it–crowdfunding.
By crowdfunding we mean several things. First of all, we offer a library of free resources (to which we plan to keep adding!). Second, we have experienced that many times people need individualized support or group support. We charge for this. And here is where crowdfunding comes in–you can get a group together and pass the hat. You can do this is in a private way or use a crowdfunding platform. Learn more about crowdfunding here. Just make sure you read and understand the terms! (Here is a free marketing secret– people that invest in something are more invested!) We want to work with people that are invested.
Finally, we work diretly with campaigns. Candidates have unique standing and we are happy to help them pursue avenues to make sure their supporters have had their voices heard.
